We can not speak highly enough about Blue Hen Construction! Their team worked through a covid build on time and at budget. There were a few bumps in the road, like any construction project, that were handled extremely well. They always returned emails and phone calls and we always felt they had a handle on things. Their follow-up and attention after the build is equally, if not more, impressive.If you're going to build, build right. Utilize local pros with a local network to get the job done right. The craftsmanship speaks volumes and you'll be happy you decided to work with a knowledgable team of builders and craftsmen.

We had a devastating house fire October 6 2018. Our home was only 18 months old and Ryan Homes told us that they do not rebuild homes. They gave us a name of a builder but we got it wrong. We looked up Blue Hen by accident! That was the best mistake we ever made. We called 2 home builders and Darrin came right out. Darrin and Laura were so easy to work with. They walked us through the entire process. Laura was a Godsend as far as picking out interior cabinets, door tile etc.The quality of work was unbelievable. All of our neighbors said so. Any changes we wanted to make were fine and costs of the changes were given to us upfront..I could go on but the bottom line is that if you want a quality home build, go with Blue Hen Construction. If we were to build another home we would without question call Darrin and Laura.

Blue Hen built our home in 2018. They really did a quality job. As with any large project there were little problems along the way. However Darrin and Laura always knew what to do and had a resolution. Our home was finished with exceptional quality. I would recommend them highly.

Did an excellent job building a home office, installing a septic system and well, and general repairs required by the mortgage company. They worked hard to get things done as soon as possible. The owners were personally involved in all steps of the project and they had wonderful staff.

Laura, Darrin, and the rest of the Blue Hen Team were excellent to work with! Although there were a few hiccups along the way as there is with any construction projects, they both were very attentive to the situations and addressed them quickly bring rapid resolution the problems that arose. We have had 1 issue since our house was built, it was a leaking spot on the roof which come to find out was a leaking vent boot. The Blue Hen team sent out the roofing contractors immediately and fixed the issue the next day. Overall the construction quality of our home is excellent, it is very energy efficient, and it is a very beautiful home! I recommend Blue Hen to any and all friends/family that are lookin to potentially build and/or remodel their homes as I would trust them to do this all over again!

Blue Hen Construction built our New construction . When planning and designing a new home the process can be very difficult but Laura and her team made the process very easy . I was very thankful for her advice and guidance . Their design studio is a great resource . The process of home building was easy and everyone at Blue hen was easy to work with and very patient with us as we made decisions . I would definitely recommend them to everyone .
